Maple and Motor
My wife doing her best impression of Vanna White.
My wife and I recently went to lunch at Maple and Motor. I have been wanting to try this restaurant ever since I saw it featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. Host, Guy Fieri, had nothing but good things to say about this burger joint. Maple and Motor is located at 4810 Maple Drive in Dallas. In addition to being featured on the Food Network, this restaurant had spectacular reviews from The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Observer, and D Magazine.
When my wife and I arrived around 1 p.m., the parking lot was full and there was a short line to the door. We only had to wait in line for about 4-5 minutes and were able to find a two-top immediately after ordering. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers and shared onion rings and fries. The burger was amazing and the bacon was crispy and peppery. The burger was so good, I swear I heard Angels sing as I took that first bite! The fries were good too, but I really liked the onion rings. The onion rings had a fluffy batter that was sweet and tasted somewhat like a funnel cake.

Fantastic Bacon Cheeseburger
Two tasty sides
My wife and I were very pleased with this restaurant. It absolutely lived up to the hype in my opinion. Despite the large crowd, the staff was very friendly and helpful in getting everyone seated before there food was ready. We will be putting Maple and Motor on our restaurant rotation when we are in this area. I would rate Maple and Motor an 4 on a scale of 5. The burger was unquestionably one of the best burgers I have had in the DFW area.
